Toronto Twilight welcomed, from Stephen Lewis Foundation, Healy Thompson, Manager of Community Campaigns and Strategic Initiatives and Maureen Bird, Rotarian Extraordinaire . We announced our clubs pledge of $139 to the RADAR initiative, discussed our plan for the Argo's Youth Day, passed out our new look Monthly Newsletter, and had a great round table discussion on Women in Rotary.

Healy Thompson is the Manager of Community Campaigns and Strategic Initiatives at the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Previously she served as the Manager of the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign at the SLF and as an organizer for both the Dare Campaign and the AfriGrand Caravan. Outside of work, Healy is pursuing her PhD in Women’s Studies at York University in Toronto and has taught an HIV and AIDS Movements course at Queen’s University as an adjunct faculty member.

Maureen Bird, member of the Toronto Club, was the original chair of the Toronto Rotary AIDS Pokerwalk. Her tireless work and Rotary is an inspiration to all young members thriving to make a mark as Rotarians.
